Sanitary Sampling Valve and Aseptic Sampling Valve

Updated: Oct 23

Tri Clamp Sampling Valve

Sanitary stainless steel sampling valves are used to obtain representative portions from a process line easily. They can be connected to sanitary tank as well as pipelines. The samples are helpful for analysis and quality control.

Hygienic sampling valves feature simple designs that can withstand the harshest operations. Precise throttling allows the right dosage of samples to be obtained reliably to ensure food safety and compliance.

Sanitary sampling ports usually come in ferrule connections (tri clamp sample valve) to be easily removed for manual cleaning.

Standard Sanitary Sampling Valve

Rotating a handle lifts and lowers a shaft to open and close the valve. The seals usually come in food grade silicone and Viton materials.

Manual sterilization is done by heating the outlet of the valve before extracting samples.

Aseptic Sampling Valve

Aseptic sampling valves feature a hermetic seal to prevent contamination from the external environment when collecting samples. They are designed for easy sterilization before and after extracting samples. Aseptic sampling valves also have no-residue bodies and are designed for easier cleaning.

Turning the handle retracts the stem and diaphragm to open the valve, and there is a spring that helps close the valve for sterilization.
