Sanitary Stainless Steel Pipes
Our Dairy Stainless Steel Tubes are available in ASTM 270 and DIN 11851 standards.
Materials are available in SS 304 and SS 316L.
Available in SMS and DIN Standards sizes 0.5" to 6".
The food grade tubes are external and internally mechanically polished to at least 180 grit or around less than 0.8um. The internal and external surfaces have a matte finish.

Our hygienic tubes come in 6 meter lengths, and are packaging with protective poly sleeves and airtight plastic caps.

How are Dairy / Hygienic Tubes different from other types of stainless steel pipes?
At first glance, Sanitary Stainless Steel Tubes look the same as other stainless steel pipes, even the material composition looks similar. Heres how you can tell the difference.

Dairy Tubes are measured by their OD, while other Schedule Pipes are measured by their ID and Thickness.​

To qualify as sanitary, the internal surface has to be polished to at least 150 Grit, much smoother than non sanitary tubes, markets today offer Sanitary Tubes with at least 180 Grit. ​

The easiest way to differentiate Sanitary Tubes from tubes is the internal welding seam. Non sanitary pipes and ornamental tubes usually have a noticeable protruding welding bead. Sanitary tubes have their welding bead polished to the extent that it is difficult to feel or see, so that chances of bacterial growth is minimal.
