Key Differences between Sanitary and Non-Sanitary Pressure Gauges:
Material: Non-sanitary pressure gauges come in carbon steel, brass, or unpolished stainless steel. Hygienic pressure gauges are made from SS 316L stainless steel and come with polished surfaces
Connection Type: Comes in crevice free tri clamp ferrule connections for easy cleaning and for preventing contamination. Industrial pressure gauges come in threaded connections like BSP and NPT which are harder to clean.
Cleaning Compatibility: Tri clamp pressure gauges are suitable for frequent CIP cleaning due to its flush mounted diaphragm and 316L material which resists aggressive cleaning agents.
