IDF Union

The IDF Union (International Dairy Federation) is comprised of an IDF nut, IDF male part, IDF liner, and IDF gasket. IDF blanks and blank nuts with chain are also available.

The gaskets comes in Teflon, BUNA, EPDM, Silicone, and Viton.

The easiest way to identify an IDF Union is its T Shape Gasket.

Like the RJT coupling, the IDF coupling is also very seldom used in the local food and beverage process industry. This is the only screw coupling with a trapezium shaped thread.
