High Vacuum Ball Valve

KF Ball Valve

Design

The vacuum ball valve is a valve with a spherical disc, the part of the valve which controls the flow through it. The sphere has a hole, or port, through the middle so that when the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow will occur.

KF Vacuum Ball Valves are specially designed for high vacuum applications. They usually come with KF Flanges that can handle vacuum environments and are compatible with most vacuum components.

Method of Operation

Turning the handle turns the valve ball either parallel or perpendicular to the flow to control or shut off flow. The handle or lever will be in line with the port position letting you see the valve’s position. High Suction Ball valves can be used in both horizontal and vertical applications.

Automation

These vacuum rated ball valves can be mounted to an actuator and be highly automated. Having an ISO mount means a compatible actuator can easily be found.
