Sanitary Round Manhole Cover

Design

The sanitary round manhole cover consists of a stainless steel lid, frame, hinge, swing bolt and seals. The stainless steel round manhole cover needs to be positioned above the liquid level.

The dairy round manhole cover is supplied with a replaceable seal on the lips to prevent fluids from spraying out, for instance, during CIP cleaning and similar processes or during travel on mobile tanks.

The hygienic round manhole cover is available in 304 or 316L stainless steel with EPDM, NBR, Viton, or Silicone seal materials.

Method of Operation

Loosening the handle opens the lid to allow maintenance personnel to enter the tank for cleaning and maintenance purposes. The food grade round manhole cover is secured in the closed position by swing bolts. Together with the seal in the cover, the swing bolts ensure complete tightness.
